DIY remote-controlled airplane for <$100

by jchong10

Here’s a video on New Scientist about a remote-controlled airplane for less than $100. These airplanes, designed by Breck Baldwin and Mark Hader, can be made of recycled materials and were on show at the Maker Faire in New York two weeks ago.

What if you could incorporate these remote-controlled airplanes into the supply chain of hard-to-reach health centers? These could be vehicles for transporting labs-on-a-chip, paper-based diagnostics (see post from 10/5) and other lightweight goodies to clinics in rural areas.
