The Harvard Catalyst | The Harvard Clinical and Translational Science Center (NIH Grant #1 UL1 RR 025758-01 and financial contributions from participating institutions) has awarded one of its first Pilot Grants to support the development of Aerovax – a portable, needle-free inhalation platform for vaccine and drug delivery in a rapid, safe, painless and cost-effective manner under the extreme conditions of healthcare’s last mile.

62 one-year, $50,000 awards, selected from a total of 607 applications Harvard-wide, were made in the first round of Harvard Catalyst Pilot Grants. Aerovax is one of only two grants focused on developing a medical device. See Harvard Catalyst’s press release about the grants and view the full list of awardees.
